/ LOYALTY /Choosing a set of irons is like picking your soulmate: You do so carefully because you plan on being with that person for a long time. So it's not surprising that a recent survey by the research firm Golf Datatech revealed that golfers hang on to their irons for almost five years—longer than some of the marriages of those using them.
