Tom Nolan

Publisher, Golf World

Tom Nolan was named Publisher of Golf World in May 2005. He joined the company as Golf World’s Advertising Director in August 2003. He was promoted to Associate Publisher the following year and was responsible for overseeing the non–endemic sales strategy and growth of the magazine.

Mr. Nolan joined Golf World from AOL Time Warner Inc., where he was responsible for packaging multi–media sales programs for This Old House Ventures, Inc in TV, print and online.

Prior to AOL Time Warner Inc., Mr. Nolan spent five years working for Ziff Davis Media. He initially covered the San Francisco and New York City territories as Regional Sales Manager, working on eWeek. Mr. Nolan was then promoted to East Coast Advertising Director working with such clients as Intel, Fidelity, KPMG, Xerox, Grey Worldwide and BBDO.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Nolan served as Demo Technician for TaylorMade Golf Inc., covering the second largest territory on the East Coast.

Mr. Nolan’s first job was as a professional golfer playing on the Heart of Texas Tour in Houston.
